Safety Awards Program
ZERO INCIDENT RATE
SDI is committed to providing a safe work environment for each of our employees at all times. This commitment is clearly outlined in our united goal:
- Zero Incident Rate - No phase of business is of greater importance than our employees' personal safety.
SDI conducts an annual training each year. Before a newly hired employee can begin work, each employee is required to complete a one week long training program. The program includes both a classroom and a field based experience. This training is complimented by On the Job Training during the individual's first days as an employee.
SDI - SAFETY REWARDS PROGRAM
As safety is the responsibility of every employee, SDI has implemented safety incentive programs to promote safe work environments, including a quarterly safety bonus program that supervisors and hourly employees are eligible to participate in. This program provides for quarterly bonuses for employees who follow good safety habits, work in a safe manner by following applicable health and safety policies and procedures, and have otherwise contributed to SDI’s efforts of ensuring a safe work environment for all employees.”
